A Week of Firsts

Today we celebrate the first week of David's life. It is hard for us to believe he has already been with us for a week. We are very happy parents and have enjoyed getting to know our little boy. This week we all experienced many firsts - here are just a few.

David is 1 week old today!

We are grateful and amazed with all of our friends and family that have supported us with gifts, time, meals, and words of wisdom. We have had an abundance of encouragement and we thank you all!

We have had a few visitors and look forward to more of you meeting David!

Going Home - Worth the Wait

We were not able to return home as soon as we expected. However, the day we were able to go home was great. Because of our extra stay we had no health worries for David or Angie.

We arrived home to family that had been expecting us and were happy to see us home!

Finally Home!

We were so happy to be together as a family in our home.

6 Day Hospital Stay

We had a longer than expected hospital stay.
Because of Angie's c-section and David losing too much weight we spent 6 days in the hospital.
We had great care, but were disappointed every morning when we were told we would be staying 1 more day!!

The King of Our Jungle Has Arrived

Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 2:30 am David Scott House arrived.

At 3:30 Friday morning Angie began having contractions. By 7:45 her water broke and we were at the hospital by 10:00.

After 23 hours of labor, 4 hours of pushing, it was determined Angie would have to have a c-section.

David was born at 2:30 a.m. weighing 7 pounds 14 ounces and was 20 and 1/4 inches long.

David's Dresser/Changing Table

Greg painted a fun room for David.

David's room is ready and waiting.
We think he'll like it.
Only one or two more weeks until we get to bring him home.
