David has an Elmo DVD that he loves. There is a character named Sasha that he has been a fan of for a while. Lately he has been silly and saying things such as "Eat Mommy, nooo" "Eat David, nooo." Tonight he was on to "Eat Sasha." Then he said, "Poor Sasha."
Today our sweet baby boy turns 21 months old. We continue to be amazed with David's vocabulary and athletic ability. He is a very fast runner, has great balance, and is a very stable climber. He now talks most of the time in three word sentences and we can even have little conversations with David. We are so blessed to be his parents and are grateful for such a gift! After nap time this afternoon David snuggled in Mommy and Daddy's bed. Then he decided to celebrate his 21 months with a little jumping. David also enjoys wearing Daddy and Mommy's shoes around the house and if you are wondering about the very loud music in the following video, know that David loves to turn Daddy's radio on as loud as it will go and then walk away...
Sunday evening David attended his first music concert - Elmo Makes Music! As soon as we walked into the Erwin center we were hit with images of Elmo and his friends. We arrived a little early so we took in the sights and stopped to pick up a few snacks. Daddy splurged for David's first concert and we enjoyed third row seats! Here is David taking it all in before the show began while enjoying a snack David tapping his Elmo shoes to the music while we waited then he really got into it
and then the show began and our little guy was in awe Daddy spoiled David again with an Elmo balloon and David's first taste of Cotton Candy... he tried it then pulled it back out, not a fan after intermission our Elmo fan was ready to see Elmo again, yelling his name hoping for him to come back on stage he got his wish we all had a wonderful Sunday afternoon, not sure who enjoyed it more, Mommy and Daddy or David
Our early riser little valentine was ready to celebrate at 5:15... still a little sleepy...David woke up yesterday morning and went downstairs to find this. When he saw it he said, "Happy Valentine's Day." We talked Monday night at bedtime that tomorrow would be Valentine's day and there would be a special treat for him... we could not believe he remembered it was Valentine's day. yes, David is ready for the next holiday season as he is already wearing his Easter pj's... Mommy had a treat of chocolate covered strawberries waiting for her, David tried them out for breakfast:) David also received special love notes from Gram, Grandad, Mimi and Ed and this Valentine spoiled me with many special treats and a wonderful take out dinner from ZTejas
