11 Months

We are still in awe of Adam - and just as with David -sometimes it is hard to believe this beautiful, happy, baby is ours to love, nurture, and care for!
Adam continues to love his milk, but is doing well with his finger foods.  He gobbles up chicken and avocado the best.  He crawls up the stairs with ease and pulls up on everything.  Adam has also this week turned in to more of a climber than David was at this age  - and David was a climber.  Adam climbs on to the fire place hearth, into the dishwasher and dryer.  He climbs up the slide on the boys big playscape. and he climbs up the big boulder we have in our front yard.
HE says, Daddy, David, Hi, Bye, Light, Outside, Down, stuck and maybe Mama.
He signs "All Done" and "Yes"
Angie was thinking he may be a little less active than his big brother.  But he is just as fast and just as loud.  He is also just as happy.
He still is up 4 -5 times a night - but is getting better about not being up for long periods of time.
He loves his big brother and looks for him first thing every morning.
We are so blessed by this happy, healthy, sweet baby boy. - and oh we just want to slow time down.
This is definitely a wonderful life!

3 years 11 Months and Earth Day!

It is hard to believe that this three year old year with David is almost complete.  Juggling two children has defiantly sped up time in our home.  We do wish there were more hours to spend with our little guys.
David continues to be full of energy.  He loves adventure, seems to be fearless, enjoys chocolate and cake.  He says candy is now his favorite food.  He would rather play with friends than his mom.  He has a love for school that we are thankful for, and he has a smile that is contagious.  He still will engage anyone who will listen in conversation. David has been taking swim lessons since soccer season ended.  He is doing great and now loves to go! David is also now a reader.  He has about 6 level A and level B books that he enjoys reading.  Hopefully one day we will get video of this. He is clever and tricky and getting too big too fast!
Happy 47 Months David Scott House!

At school David planted Marigold seeds a few weeks ago ( the cup on the right).  We had them out on the back porch and they had sprouted.  Then a squirrel , we think, came and dug them up.  We planted them again along with some sunflower seeds that Gram and Grandad sent in a kit for the boys.  Then David had a great idea to put a picture of an alligator out to keep the squirrels away!
Hope it works - Happy Earth Day!

Easter Weekend Festivities

We had a wonderful Easter weekend.  Ii is the last first holiday we will have in our house - other than Adam's first birthday.  This fact makes Angie a little sad - wanting to spread out the fun!
After the Easter Extravaganza at church Saturday morning we dyed eggs at home Saturday night after dinner.  Adam was not quite finished eating, but we needed to get started because bed time was fast approaching...
David waiting for the color to filter through the water...
Asking if we have to wait for Adam to finish dinner...
 First eggs...
 in the dye...
Being silly while we wait for the eggs to turn...

 This face - Love!
Adam was now ready to be anywhere, but helping with the eggs...
We thought of trying to melt crayons shaving over the eggs - but the eggs were not hot enough.  Angie had boiled them early in the day and kept them in the refrigerator... we could not heat them up enough for the crayon to melt.  So we had more of crayon sprinkles on pour eggs.
This little guy was eating again... and so happy!

After this project the boys went to bed and we started to prepare for Sunday morning festivities.  Here arte the boys Easter baskets - which are really neat...
but HIS love for us is even better.  So, this cross that David made at school was above those baskets - although no one really noticed.
Easter morning - what did the bunny leave?...

David helping Adam with his basket first...
Then David discovers in his a chocolate bunny...
 And the movie TURBO!
Lots of pictures of Adam because it is his first Easter morning...

 Time to hunt!
David still likes to see what is in the eggs as he goes...
The bunny left finger lights in our eggs!
All the better ti hunt with!  Greg would hand Adam his eggs...
And Adam would throw them in the basket!
David using his new finger lights to find eggs...

 Adam found a light too!
But then he decided instead of that egg right there...
He would rather have dirt in his basket...
 So Proud!
Time to look in the eggs...
After that church with these two handsome boys!

And after church - over to Mimi and Ed's.
Adam was a little upset because we had to wake him up form his nap:(.
David brought his "super hero power" to Mimi and Ed's
 Now he is happy!
 Time for another hunt!

Looks like Adam is going for that egg...
 Nope crawled right past it...
And he finished the hunt swinging with Aunt Amy.

Such a wonderful weekend with family remember our Savior!
