After our morning park time and before afternoon nap time we spend our time outside and it is a favorite time for the boys and for us! Having 2 boys means Angie has had to adjust to spending 80% of the day outside - cold, hot, wet, it does not matter - boys always want to be outside!
David enjoys showing Adam how to do things...
And Adam loves to do what David shows him!
every once in a while we can go in - to get more to take outside
Our sweet baby Adam turned 18 months old today. Life continues to become faster and faster and all of a sudden he is a year and a half old.
Adam began putting three words together yesterday with his first sentence being, "Bye bye Daddy's truck." as Angie carried Adam into the house from the garage. Today at the park he told Angie, "Sand please." to get her to take him to the sand area to play. He is becoming more proficient at language and using signs less and less every day.
We are hoping that 18 months will be the magic month where he will begin sleeping through the night - this was David's magic month so we are hoping, but know that they are VERY DIFFERENT little boys!
Adam tries to do EVERYTHING big brother does! He is very much into "driving" our cars and could sit for hours pretending to drive. Just this week he began noticing t.v. and cannot get enough of Baby Einstein. He has an unbelievable love for books and loves to cuddle with stuffed animals. He still enjoys bath time and would rather be outside than anywhere else.
We are so thankful for this happy healthy baby boy who brings our house more love, fun, joy, and happiness because he is with us!
Happy 18 months Adam Samuel.
Here is Adam after dinner tonight with a "birthday cookie."
Today was the Thanksgiving Feast at David's school. Angie and Mimi joined David for lunch. It was a lovely catered meal, but the best part was spending time with David and hearing him tell the stories of the items he made that decorated the table. He even thought of his own native American name, Lightening Bolt. His best friend at school, who we were seated with, was Shadow Chaser. How creative these 4 year olds were! Angie enjoys these out of the ordinary moments and how fast these moments are gone. Thankful to work close enough not to miss these times in his life!
He sees Mama!
The table decoration! Look at his cutting job on his turkey body and eyes!~ could not be any cuter in our book!
Our Lightening Bolt
It never gets old seeing, "David's Mom." Best title ever
David is thankful for his family, his house, and his baby brother
