At Home

We have had some allergy issues this month.  So many days we take it easy.  Here are the boys sharing breakfast - on the couch!
David and Mommy playing Chutes and Ladders - a family favorite - thanks Aunt Christie
 Time at the park -
 Rides around the neighborhood

And popsicles to soothe our throats
 Time with cousins...

 Time in the backyard...
And a quick trip to Houston with a stop at Starbucks on the way...

Lunch outside is always fun in the spring
And these lazy days make for long naps too.

Soccer Season 2015

David had his official start to soccer season the Monday after Easter.  However, his first few games were rained out.  So, yesterday we had our first official game and his team did well.  They are the Lions and are playing a division up.  So his team is 4 and 5 year olds and they are playing teams with kids finishing kindergarten.
Here is David on his first soccer practice of the season.

And here is David before his first game of the season.

David is playing on a team with neighborhood boys this year and one will be in his class next year.  3 of them will go to kindergarten together.
We also love his coach!  You will see coach Andy in the white visor.
David is number 8 on the gray team.

Here David was asked to make the corner kick - the opponents are waiting for it...

Great first game Lions!

Water Table Fun

For Christmas Adam received a new water table.  David's water table from Aunt Christie we had since he turned one and it had been well loved.
Angie finally out Adam's together this week and the boys have been loving it!

23 Months

Tonight we had a make your own pizza night at David's request.  After making his pizza Adam just wanted to eat Pepperoni.  And so this round of 23 month pictures feature a pepperoni and a greasy little face!

Adam continues to be up at night and is actually up again about 3 times each night.  He requests water very sweetly as Angie enters his room after saying, "Hi There Mama."
He counts to 10.  Sings, B-I-N-G-O, ABC's, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Ring Around the Rosie, Jesus Loves Me, and refers to it all as Rock and Roll!

Adam reads Brown Bear Brown Bear and definitely has book favorites.
He says his favorite color is orange most days... but there are days when he says it is green or blue.  He knows all of his colors except black.  He also knows his shapes.  He enjoys puzzles and is just beginning to enjoy drawing.
His love of golf and soccer are still very strong along with basket ball... but he wants to play with a real basket ball not his little ones.
Adam is still a little meat eater.
He still loves David and follows him around trying out things that David does.  He likes to fight bad guys with David, race with David, climb with David, and swing like David. The bond they are building is one we hope lasts a life time.
Happy Birthday Adam - we love you!

Spring Time

We have been enjoying the mild days and long evenings.  We love time with friends and just being a little family of 4 outside.
Monday after Stroller Strides we visited the pool to see how cold it was.  The boys could not resist getting their feet wet...
 Then their entire bodies...
Right after this picture Angie had to go in fully clothed after Adam as he got too brave and went under... he loved it. Angie not so much!

 Ready for summer!
Painting the driveway - Adam loves his art work...

 He painted his own hair...
David made a cross walk for dogs with chalk...
Calling all dogs with his pretend flute...
Junior Gardeners trying to bring the dead frozen plants back to life...
 Pretending to nap...
Maybe it is because Angie does not get to put him down daily for his naps - she just can't get enough of this little one sleeping.  He always sleeps with his Pink bear tucked under his arm...

Spring Time is full of fun!
