26 Months

Yesterday our Adam turned 26 months old.  He brings us so much joy!
He is still such a drooler.  He loves books, animals, music, dancing, running, and swimming.
He is messy.  He is silly.  He is funny.
We celebrated his day with a haircut, pizza and popsicles!
Adam Samuel we love you!

Engineers with Candy

Angie started back to work this week - so it has been an adjustment for us all.  Thankfully the district is closed on Friday during the summer.  Today we had a little bit of fun building with candy.
The best part was the way these two made each other giggle when thinking of things they could build.

Going to the Zoo

We made another trip to Cameron Park Zoo yesterday.  Greg's mom and dad and nieces joined us.  Adam was very excited to see the animals.  He was especially looking forward to seeing a monkey.  David wanted to see the elephants - like his Daddy!
Boys - ready for a road trip!

Studying the map with Grandpa Ed
Telling Mimi about the Monkey - !

Adam and Grandpa Ed - dancing like a fox.

Adam was fascinated watching the fish!
 Studying snakes...

The teenagers wanted to ride and the babies wanted to walk...

This little one - so independent - he wanted to watch the giraffe by himself!

 He was getting so tired...
 Watching the elephants together -

Each tile in the square made a chime sound - Adam loved making music and threw a fit when it was time to move on...
The Monkeys!

 His legs look so long...
Another great day at the zoo!

End of Swim

David finished swim lessons for the summer this week.  After only 8 lessons this little boy was jumping off of the diving board and swimming to the side without assistance.  It is amazing what powerful and encouraging teaching can do for someone.  David was somewhat nervous in the water and now is such a fish - asking to go to the pool every day.  Adam too is jumping in - often without someone watching - and swimming to the side.  There are no words for the gratitude we have for Ms. Lora and Ms. Shelia.

A Trip to Houston

A week after returning from Galveston Angie took the boys and made a trip to Houston.  They visited family and childhood friends.  Angie's parents took them out to dinner, to the pool, and let the boys feed the fish in their pond every day!  They had a great visit.  On the way out of town they went to Angie's uncles house for a pool party- these boys love to swim!
Traveling with these two... some days they make it easy!

Gram brought out this horse that Adam LOVES!

All the cousins together in one car for the first time!
Our Sweet Adam loved wearing this hat!

 The cousins rode bikes...
There was afternoon quiet time while Adam napped...
 Pool Time...

And by the end of the day these two were tired...
