It always seems like a fun idea and one the boys are always thrilled about... but it always ends with a bath and Mama scrubbing the boys, the floor, and anything the boys came in contact with!  But days home with them are always more fun and exciting and worth every single mess.

Another One Bites the Dust

Well, 2016 has already brought quite a few firsts - some good and others we could have passed on.  However, we are thankful its treatable.
Tuesday morning as Angie was trying to get everyone out the door she noticed David felt warm.  After a check of his temperature she began cancelling all of the appointments on her calendar for the day, called David's school and they settled in for the day.
Yesterday, she decided to take him to the doctor after still running a low grade fever and vomiting at 10:30 Tuesday evening - she suspected strep.  And she was correct.  Our sweet David has strep and so now he has his first exposure to antibiotics.  And we are thankful it is something that is treatable and that he made it to almost 6 with no big issues.
We have been doing a lot of this - Angie has had all week home.  Thankfully she can go in on Friday and Greg can take care of the boys!
On Monday Adam finally began feeling better from a 2 week virus - we really hope he can stay free of David!
The little guy who is never still spent all of Tuesday like this...

And Adam insisted he was still sick and needed to rest too :)

 actually resting!
we had too much tv time:(
 Even Bella rested on Tuesday
Wednesday morning brought a small amount of energy for coloring

And a trip to the doctor
And then back home for more of this.
And then after all of this Angie came down with an ear infection in both ears and a sinus infection which means she had to make a trip to urgent care after 9:00pm when Greg was finally home.  Let's hope February brings better health.

Pajama Day

Last Friday David had pajama day.  We took pictures before school of his new pajamas with his lovie he was also taking to school.  But somehow these pictures were deleted from the camera.  So, those sweet pics are gone and Angie has a couple off her phone that were taken when David's pajamas came in the mail.
Pajama day at school - David loved it!

Angie also Asked David a series of questions before bed one night...
Here we go.

What is something I always say to you
"I love you."

What makes Mommy happy?
"Me, and Adam, and Daddy

What makes Mommy sad?
"When me, and Adam, and Daddy are not here and you are all alone."

32 Months

Today Adam turns 32 months.  He is sweet and feisty.  He is a thinker and like his brother, enjoys making conversation with anyone!  Adam continues to enjoy pretend play, books, running like his Daddy and Big Brother, and lots of music.
This morning on the way to church he shared this:
"I am little like Baby John.  Baby John is little like me.  We are friends."
John is about 4 months younger than Adam and we only see him once or twice a year - but he remembers him!
Before going to bed last night Angie Asked Adam this series of questions:
What is something I always say to you:
"I love you."
What makes Mommy happy?
"When I love you."
What makes Mommy sad?
"When I say mean words."
How does Mommy make you laugh?
"I laugh like this" and then proceeds to giggle.
What was Mommy like when she was little?
"I was not a baby yet."
How old is Mommy?
How tall is Mommy?
"Biggest - like that - tallest"  stretching his arms as far as he can
What is Mommy's favorite thing to do?
What is my favorite food?
What do you like to do with Mommy?
"Play, Play, Play"
Our sweet Baby Adam - we love him so!

After Angie told Adam he could not have something and he would not let it go she moved it to the cabinet above the refrigerator.  She came into the kitchen and found Adam still trying to get it.

Mommy and Adam day

Wednesday's Adam and Angie spend together.  Usually they begin the day with Stroller Strides.  However, with Adam being sick we did not want him in the cold weather.  So they began a day together at the mall.
David at this age always wanted something when visiting the mall.  We always had to make a purchase - Adam wanted nothing, other than more play time!
