Open for Business

There has been quite a bit of talk about opening a business in our house the last few months.  David joined in on that about a week ago.
He told Angie he needed to make a sign for his business on the computer.  Angie set him up and off he started his sign making.  Then he wanted to hang up his sign.  She was expecting the sign to go on his bedroom door for his play business.  She was incorrect.  David wanted the sign on the front door of the house.  And he really thought someone would come to his business.
David's business is called PBSH David - it stands for Business Safe Help
When a delivery driver dropped a package off for Greg's business David stopped him in the front yard and shared his banking business with this poor delivery driver.  David told him how he could keep his money safe since the driver was so busy with his job.
His little mind is always thinking and he is determined to do something BIG!

April Swimming

It seems since we moved into this neighborhood every April since David was one we walk to the pool after dinner to check out the water temperature.  Well, last Tuesday we stuck to tradition.  However, more than just little feet got wet.  These are the faces of pure joy!
 Oh... it might be
 COLD!

 This sweet happy boy!

Serving Hearts

Our Serving Hearts Project for April was painting crosses with the residents at a nursing home.  Both boys had fun with this project!  David had a hard time leaving his work.  Like last time these were used to decorate residents apartments.
Serving Hearts is such a good experience for us all!

Fun with Our Boys

These two little ones make the most basic days full of fun!  It will be a hard day when they no longer ask us to join them in their play!
One day the boys had to go wtth Angie to fourth grade... they deserved Chick-Fil-A after having to spend an hour listening to Mama teach writing.
We all LOVE sidewalk paint.

There is never ever enough time with him!
Building Towers is fun for One - the Other always wants to knock it down.
Nothing Better than walking in finding your two year old snuggled up with his blanket and a good book using stages of Elizabeth Sulzby, Matt Glover, and Kathy Collins, levels of reading.

And our little writer!  David is forever creating.  Books, lists, letters, maps, directions, notes, labels,  this little writer is always communicating!
And they still love to help Greg with the yard!

Adan has started wanting to wear hats!  This sweet soul with his soccer uniform, lazer gun, and fireman hat!

And David is low into wearing sunglasses on his head like Daddy!
On the way home from HEB we had an impromptu stop at a park... it was quick because we had frozen food, but stopping because we have time rarely happens so we took advantage of the moment!

And finally after 11 months of encouragement - Adam is now riding his balance bike!

As tired as we are at bedtime we never want these sweet moments to disappear.

On a rainy day there is nothing better than to wash your planes!

There is never a dull moment with 2 boys and we would not have it any other way!
