Family Photos

For Christmas we gave Greg's parents a family photo session.  Today I received the images.  Here are some favorites!  I am surprised there are any... Adam is not one for taking pictures!
Brotherly Love...
Look at Adam's elbow jab to David.

 So Big!
 Always thinking...

My favorite - if Adam were looking.
 Looking, but no smiles.
 There are the smiles.
My favorite - my whole world.
 The House's
 The Grands and the Littles.
I wanted to try for one more... no cooperation.

That face - he would not smile he just wanted to sit in my lap.
Gwen requested this picture with the boys...
 Ed's Boy.
 The House Men
 And the Ladies.

We love to watch his personality unfold.  He is creative.  He is a storyteller.  He is confident.  He loves attention.  These attributes will get him far as an adult.  As his teacher says, "We need to teach him to use his powers for good."  :)

Dress Up

One of our favorite things to watch is these two little ones use their imaginations.  David and Adam are almost always pretending to be something other than themselves.  We see robots, puppies, kitties, babies, Wild Krats, Ninja's, Spy's etc... and we love that they turn to their imaginations rather than a screen!

Memorial Day Weekend

We did a lot of swimming last weekend!
The boys and Angie made a quick trip to Houston to visit family and swim at her uncle's house.  The boys had a great time.

They were worn out and slept the entire drive home.
 David slept with his flag:)
Monday Greg had to work.  But Angie and the boys met friends at our neighborhood pool.  Adam would not stop swimming to get in the picture.  It is fun that the boys have so many friends in our little neighborhood.

Adam has Things to Say

Adam has new phrases he uses.  We don't know where he has heard these, but it is super cute to hear.

When he needs our attention he says, " We have a situation."

If we don't respond quickly he says, "Come check this out!"

When he suggests something he is very excited about, "That is a brilliant idea!"

When he is looking for something or running toward something specific, " I've got my eye on it!"

When Adam refers to something in the past he says, "Last night..."  It reminds us of David.  He used the phrase "yesterday" to refer to anything in the past.

When he was frustrated with David he told us - this only happened once because there was a conversation following this, " That's ok.  Jesus can build a new David."

We love him and the expressions he uses.  He makes us smile!
