David has been telling us that he wants to take gymnastics. This summer many of his school friends were going to gymnastics camp for a week. We have never sent David off to any activity before without staying with him. So, we only registered for one day of the camp. 4 of his friends from school were there. He tried it, but has decided gymnastics is not for him. Here he is as Angie dropped him off the morning of camp.
6 years ago in mid July Angie took her first Stroller Strides class with David at 7 weeks old.

After she had Adam she happened to start back to class with both boys after taking 7 weeks off.

Both of our boys have been attending classes with Angie since they were each 7 weeks old. It is nice that there is a way to set a healthy example of fun exercise for our boys. It is a routine for us. We all still enjoy it. Angie would love for the boys to always fit in the stroller ready to cheer her on as she works out!
6 years after our first class!
Love them big and always want to remember these preschool years with them!
Poor Adam was riding his motorcycle in the garage as we were heading to the pool. He was going fast and flipped over the handlebars. We have our first big bump of the two boys. He still wanted to swim and all was well.
Today Adam is 84 months old. And he is just as happy as ever - most of the time.
He still prefers Angie to anyone - kind of like his brother at this age.
He enjoys books and music.
He will not eat vegetables.
HE still crawls into our laps any chance he has.
He enjoys playing - restaurant, puppies, dinosaur, and tiger, soccer, swimming, running, ride on toys, board games, but does not follow the rules, and of course building, digging, water play, and being a scientist. He makes our world so much better!
Happy Birthday Adam Samuel.
When you are three in 30 seconds you can be happy...
Then Sad... ( he wanted to climb the fence and there was a sign that said Don't climb the fence.)
Angie: Singing Jesus Loves the Little Children
Adam: Where is Jesus?
Angie: In Heaven
Adam: Why did Jesus die on the cross for us?
Angie: To forgive our mistakes so we can go to Heaven.
Adam: I think there will be scary tigers there.
Angie: No - just happiness is in Heaven
Adam: I don't want to go to Heaven.
Angie: Where do you want to go instead?
Adam: To Target
In the Car:
Adam: Mama I am starving, can you turn on a movie?
Angie: No, we are not watching movies.
Adam: But Mama, I'm starving!
Angie: Adam, what does starving mean?
Adam: It means I want to watch a movie.
David: Mama I broke my head and now I can't think anymore!!
Adam: My back hurts
Angie: Daddy should look at it. He is a back doctor.
Adam: And a forwards doctor?
Greg: Yes, Daddy helps people backwards and forwards.
At Stroller Strides:
David: Mom, Jack picked up a cigarette.
Jack: Well, I just threw it away.
Angie: Next time lets just leave it because those are very dirty. Someone you don't know has had that in their mouth.
David: Its true, isn't it mom, that someone had died from smoking a cigarette?
Adam: Who, Jesus?
The boys are truly blessed by Greg. He is a dad that loves them. He wants to spend time with them. They hike and fish together. They play in the backyard together, He tells them jokes. He reads them stories. He tells stories. They workout together. And oh how he loves them with tickles and snuggles and lots of laughs.
We wanted to celebrate Greg well. We went to lunch with his brother and Dad. And then the boys wanted to have cake!
