Pumpkin Carving

We carved our pumpkin yesterday.  The boys were a great big help this year.  David came up with our design, Adam wanted a train pumpkin... a little too involved for us.  Greg did another great pumpkin this year!

Sketching the Design on the pumpkin.

 Getting started.
 Cleaning...

Love this shot - he is finally touching the inside again.
And this little guy - just so happy.

 David's turn to carve - a first!

Adam's turn to carve with a little help from Daddy - a first!

And then after the nose was carved by both boys - they left the rest for Greg to finish...
 One went Zip Lining...

The other ran off to the pretend forest they created...

But they are happy with the final product!

Happy Halloween!

Grands Halloween

Last night Mimi took the boys to a Grand's Halloween party.  No parents allowed!  The boys had a great time.  There was bobbing for apples, ring toss, hot dogs, smores, create a creature etc.  Both boys said that the best part was feeding the hogs their apples.  The party was out on a farm that the boys have visited before with Mimi and they love going.
Thanks Mimi for such a fun evening.

The boys with "Ms. Tammy."  Angie taught second grade with her about 15 years ago... and now the boys love her farm!

Early Release and Halloween Mail

Today Adam  and Mama went to Stroller Strides.  Then had to hurry home because David had early release at 12:00 - we love these days, where we are all home together, like the "old days."
Then a great surprise of Halloween Mail from Gram and Grandad came.  A great Wednesday at our house!

Celebrating 40 Years

This weekend Angie turned 40.  We had a perfect family day.  We started our day at Touch a Truck here in Round Rock.  We then headed to Waco to Magnolia Market.  We had so much fun as a family hanging our on the lawn for hours!  We headed back home to cake and flowers fro Angie.  Then Greg surprised Angie with a nice dinner at Perry's Steakhouse downtown.  It could not have been a better day!
