David has been asking to take horseback riding lessons for a year. And we finally gave in. We thought maybe after going to the dude ranch he would loose interest... but it fueled his love even more.
Ready to go to his first private lesson!
Trotting like a horse.
He loved it! He starts his group classes after Thanksgiving break.
David was so very excited about his first camp out with Boy Scouts last weekend. He could hardly contain himself on his way to school Friday morning. Falling asleep Saturday night he told Greg all of the reasons why it was the best day of his life!
Greg got David his first pocket knife - David was so proud!
This was taken by a friend and is priceless!
Adam had a soccer game that same day and scored a goal! There was bounce houses too celebrating the end of the season... he was so tired by noon.
Playing at home and enjoyed the quiet while David and Daddy camped.
National Night Out was back in October. However, it rained here that night and events all around our city were cancelled. Our neighborhood reschedule and we enjoyed another great event in our neighborhood!
As soon as we arrived Adam saw one of his teachers. He ran up to her and started hopping up and down - he was so excited.
There was a delicious pizza food truck - Greg is still talking about the pizza! And Adam's art teacher is the owner of this catering business. 2 of the kindergarden teachers from David's school were working here too.
There was Kona ice - Adam loves it.
David went in the ambulance and listened for a really long time.
David with friends - Bryn and Megan
David's Pack held the flag while the National Anthem was sung.
The boys ran wild in the bounce houses.
And we loved spending time with friends and neighbors!
Luke and Lila, our cousins, celebrated birthday this week! They turned 11 and 7 and that seems just about impossible!
Lila had her party a few weeks ago and was nice enough to schedule it when we could for sure attend. We had a great time.
Aunt Christie learned how to make balloon animals and made all of the decorations - it was really remarkable. The boys loved it and she tried to teach them how to do some simple ones.
Adam had a playdate a stroller strides where they looked and sorted fall leaves by color and shape. They also had to pick them up with a clothes pin. He did it for a while and then got tired. He and his friends then started throwing leaves into the air... it was so much more fun!
