Adam had his Wee Sing this past week at school. This is where parents are invited to join their child in music. When David was in school, Mimi went one day and Daddy went the other, in the 3's, Daddy went in the 4's, and Mama went in the Ready Rockets. This year Angie was pleasantly surprised to find out she would be off on a day when Adam would be at school and could attend.
Angie did not tell Adam she was coming so it was a complete surprise. He was so happy to see her. He held her, sat in her lap, and was teary when it was time for her to leave. Such a short class, but so much fun.
We got a little preview of what will take place at the Cowboy Cookout.
Time to go... Adam was sad, but he quickly found is place in line as the caboose.
Adam is the happiest little boy. His smile can make any bad day disappear. He loves his family, especially his "Big Brother." If Adam wants something, and doesn't get it right away, he says, "But you are my favorite person."
He still loves to be silly, make others laugh, jump, read, play trains, cars, trucks, construction site, swing, paint, and be outside. At dinner he likes to drink "purple juice."
He still does not like vegetables, dropping his brother off at school, and riding his bike.
This boy reminds us daily of just how blessed we are. He is so sweet and loving and reminds us to be too.
Yesterday Adam and Angie toured the Blue Baker in Austin with Stroller Strides. David went on this tour with Mimi when he was almost three. So, Angie and Adam were excited to get to see it too - almost 4 years after David.
Adam loved watching the bread being mixed.
This is what he bread looks like when it is baked.
Time to make our own bread.
He was so excited!
Adding raisins, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, - he decided he did not want cranberries.
Time to bake it!
After everyone's bread went to the kitchen it was time for a treat.
Fresh warm gooey cookies!
