Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

During spring break we visited Gram and Grandad, Luke, Lila, and Aunt Christie.  We love extra time to see them.  And while we were in Houston we kept with tradition and attended the Livestock show.  The boys as usual had a great time!   Thank you Gram and Grandad for treating us again this year!
2 Cowboys ready to go!

So excited and ready for a fun day.

First stop is always the ponies - but Adam insisted that they were called horses!

No Hands!  Full of tricks he is.

 Next Up - Petting Zoo.

David really wanted a new lasso - so of course Gram and Grandad got him one.  His favorite color.

Then Adam wanted a green one - his favorite color.
 Lila rode with Adam often.
Time for Fun on the Farm.
Getting their seeds.

 Planting...

 Working in the fields...

collecting eggs from the hen house
pumping water for the dairy cows

 milking the cows

 gathering corn for the chickens

 more cows to milk

taking their goods to the Farmers Market

Getting Paid to purchase a treat at the general store.
All of that work makes it hard to even finish lunch.
David really wanted to ride a bull.  He tried to find a bull and get its attention. He specifically wore his red bandanna for the exact purpose.

So Gram paid for David to get this picture on a bull.  It made his day.  He even asked last night if he could take this picture to school to show his teacher.  It is still such a fun memory for him.
And this one became more comfy!
 They found more tractors
 And he woke up!

Such a fun day!  Thanks Gram and Grandad.
