A Week of Firsts

It is hard to believe that we have already known Adam for a week.  We continue to learn his personality and are incredibly thankful for another healthy baby boy.  He is a treasure for sure!
Here is a look at some of our firsts with Adam this week.

Brothers

The adjustment of bringing Adam home and transitioning from 3 to 4 has gone much more smoothly than Angie had anticipated.  However, we have had 24 hour help.  David is enjoying his little brother... and they even decided to gang up on mom together when trying to get a picture of the two brothers.  They took turns being silly or cranky for these pictures.  Brothers!

Going Home

We had excellent doctors and nurses in the hospital, but there is nothing like going home.  We are finally at home and being taken care of by our selfless families.  Here are a few pictures from our first few hours at home.

As soon as Mommy can walk upstairs we will introduce Adam to his new room.  For now we are all adjusting and getting settled as a family of 4.

Hospital Visitors

We had many family members visit us while we were in the hospital.  It was hard for us being away from David for so long.  Angie has never left David for more than 24 hours... And that happened only once in his three years.
Thanks to Angie's parents for staying with him and making his schedule as typical as possible.  Thanks to Greg's parents for keeping David an extra day this week and acting as if Friday we were both just at work.  David is handling this transition pretty well and we are proud of his big brother attitude and the love he is showing his baby brother.  Here are some memories from our hospital stay.
