Back to School

The boys went back to school Tuesday. None of us were ready for school or a schedule. It was below freezing and dark outside which made it extra hard to return.

But, they both had a good day.

And our niece had her first day of teaching her own third grade class. And we heard she had a great day along with her students!

 

Enjoying Winter Break

Holly has loved having us home this break.  She gets a walk every single day... sometimes two.

The boys both had great dentist appointments, its so much fun that they enjoy going to the dentist.

Adam has been a Lego building machine.

Holly has had lots of naps.

There has been hanging out in the playroom and in the living room...

brothers making memories...

Lots of fishing...

And spending gift cards...

When big brother sends an hour looking at fishing gear, you get desperate for a place to sit...

A trip to Barnes and Noble and the cafe...

And lots of everyday memories that make us all want to stay home forever.

 

A Guided Fishing Trip for Greg and David

Gram and Grandad gifted David and Greg a guided fishing trip for Christmas.  David could not wait to go.  The original thought was to book the trip now for a later date in the spring.  But once they called the guide they could not wait and booked the trip for January 5th.

They caught big fish and had a really great time.

They fished on Lake Austin right by our church... Adam says he saw them on the lake as they were driving to church.

 

Happy New Year

Happy 2025!

We celebrated New Years with a 9:00 countdown and fireworks with our neighbors.

It is noce to celebrate with friends and be home, just walking 4 houses down, by 10:00pm.
