Spring Break with Cousins

We took a couple of days and visited Grandparents and Cousins in Houston for a few days over Spring Break.  But on our way our of town we made a little stop for provisions.
We got to Gram and Grandads... and Grandad saved all of his bubble wrap - so the boys went crazy with popping when we got out of the car.

We were hungry and Grandad and Gram treated us to our favorite, Pesos!
Gram and Grandad taught the cousins Mexican Train.
The kids played over and over all three days that we were there.
They loved this game.
Cousins Sleepovers are a favorite of these 4.
The next day we went to Kemah...
The three biggest rode the swings right away...
And Adam rode his favorite "Little Ferris Wheel."

Then Grandad treated us to a "Fancy" seafood lunch.  David has been wanting to go to a fancy restaurant for a while... this was a treat!

These Boys are the best!

After lunch we walked down the board walk...
Sisters and Cousins...
Grandparents and Cousin...
Then we all 8 rode the train...

After the train all 4 kids rode the carrousel David and Adam were up and Lila and Luke were down.

The kids spent many many hours on this swing...

It was sad to say goodbye, but we are already looking forward to our next visit!

19 Years... and So On

We celebrated 19 years of marriage 2 weeks ago.  It was mostly uneventful.  We did go to dinner, this is the only picture of the night.  And so on we go to year 20.

Thanks mom and dad for the gift certificate and thanks Greg for 19 years.  I sure love you.

A First Phone

With much reluctance and trying other possibilities... we have now given David his first phone.
It will only call and text... so if he has your number expect a few calls.
Angie will be able to get in contact with him when needed and he feels a little more weight of being responsible.

Adam Makes Us Smile!

Adam is a happy little guy that marches to his own beat.
He can always make us smile.
Adam began digging through the pool bag this weekend...

He dressed up for an outing with Daddy on Saturday.
HE is in the process of making our whole family dinosaur helmets
And he is a reader... Greg found him upstairs like this before bed one night.

St. Patrick’s Day

Grandmothers took over the fun of St. Patrick’s Day this year!

Mimi made shamrock pancakes for the boys last Saturday morning.

Gram made green - apple cinnamon, blueberry and chocolate chip muffins this morning. Aunt Christie brought a side of Lucky Charms to the breakfast table too.

Camp Mabry

Sunday after church Greg took the boys to Campy Mabry to watch a civil war reenactment.  David most loved the canons and the large blasts they made.  Adam most loved his FREE earplugs and "civil war ice cream."

They learned a little more about the union and the confederacy, saw what a real charge and a battle would have looked like.
