Happy Easter

Today we worshiped the Risen Savior with a celebration at Riverbend.  It was a time of beautiful music and a glorious message.  Mimi and Ed were able to join us as well.  We picked David up from his class and heard David's version of the Resurrection story that he learned this morning. 
Today we are thankful for Forgiveness and Grace and a church home like Riverbend.

Easter Eggstravaganza

This morning we headed to church for the annual Easter Eggstravaganza.  David had a great time and hunted many eggs.  Such a fun filled family event and we took advantage of a nice spring morning with our church family.

 David had options of face painting, making a bunny hat, or tattoos... he chose a tattoo.  We think he thought it was a sticker.  When the lady asked where he wanted to put it he said "on my cheek."

 And then it was time for the main attraction, The 12,000 egg Easter Egg Hunt...

 When it was over and we stopped to look at David's collection of eggs we noticed he needed a restroom break... can you tell?

 Mommy ran with all her might to get David quickly across the campus and we made it!  At least we know Angie was part of the family fun even if only the backside was captured.

Library Hunt

Mimi took David to story time Wednesday just as usual.  But this week was special because after the stories and the songs there was an Easter egg hunt.  David had a great time.  He was eager to tell us about opening the eggs to find surprises inside.
