Memories with Mimi and Ed

This week Mimi and Ed have taken David on another adventure.
Tuesday they rode the train back downtown to visit fire station #1.  This is the only fire station that still has a fireman's pole to slide down.  David had a great time.  He talked with other passengers on the train.  He had many questions for the firefighters which we were told they were happy to answer.  David was given a turn to slide down the fire pole.  He also had the opportunity to talk on the radio to another fire fighter.  And of course Mimi finished up the trip with some chocolate milk from Starbucks.

Then on Wednesday David and Mimi went back to story time.  David volunteered this week to be the helper.  He was excited about this, somehow he became magical and made color disappear on the pages of the book!
