Neighborhood Hunt

Today David participated in our neighborhood Easter egg hunt. After church and before the hunt David and Daddy practiced hunting eggs at home.  So, by 2:00 when the Easter fun began David was ready!  We all had a very fun afternoon.
Hunting eggs...

Daddy helping David count his eggs.  12 was the number to be found.  David can count to 20, but had a hard time counting the eggs in the basket.  There were many eggs getting counted more than once.

Opening his eggs to find yummy surprises inside.

Time for the petting zoo.  David did a very nice job of being patient and waiting his turn...

  A bunny...

 Chick...

 Guinea Pig...

"Grumpy" Hedgehog.  His quills were out so David was only allowed to look...

 A turtle...

Time was up so we headed over to have David's face painted...  he requested a horse, this was not in the book of choices

 so proud!

Before walking home David asked to go hold the one animal he missed the first time, the duckling

And back home we had one tired little boy.
