Last summer we decided to postpone a trip to Colorado and reschedule an early fall trip to Disney World. And we couldn't have made a better decision. We made some of our best family memories. The boys are still talking about the trip, favorite rides, favorite park, favorite meal, favorite snack, favorite character... we are so fortunate to have been able to take this trip. It could not have been any better.
The boys chose their Magic bands and they were mailed to us in August.
Thursday, September 23, 2021 they were up at 3:30am ready to go!
The airport was not crowded once we got through security. We had TSA precheck this trip and it was completely worth the expense and trouble for that - highly recommend TSA precheck.
These three are everything!
Adam was ready to go in comfort.
Our first flight didn't have tv, but Adam was prepared.
Second flight Adam pulled out his favorite breakfast/snack... chocolate doughnuts
And there were tv's on this flight!
Greg had coffee and a bagel, David had a bagel and cream cheese and Angie had coffee.
Once we landed in Florida we took the shuttle to baggage claim, the boys thought it was a great ride - love that you can see their excitement even with masks.
After we collected our bags we got on our Disney Magic Bus...
And Adam fell asleep almost instantly!
We made it to our hotel - The Contemporary - where Greg stayed as a kid. This was the beautiful view from our room!
We packed our bags and headed to the Monorail for Epcot!
We made it!!
Favorite Picture - Adam fell in love with Figment, the mascot from Epcot.
This was Adam's favorite ride at Epcot, it was our first ride, where you could watch yourself travel through time and see yourself in the future - here is Adam in the future.
Then it was on to the Test Track ride. David loved this one. Each of the boys designed their own car...

And then we drove them on the test track! It was really fun!
Next was our character meal at Garden Grill - the boys requested this because they remembered from our trip when they were 2 and 5.
IT was really so much fun to see how excited the boys got each time the characters came by to see us. Also, both of the boys ate really well, turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and rolls.
Angie requested this picture in front of this sign because she has a rea;;y cute picture of the boys in this exact spot when they were tiny.
However, their picture this time isn't quite the same.
We found the telephone booths in England, and Mimi was in London while we were at Epcot, so the boys thought this was fun.
We moved on to Mexico...
Then Adam requested pictures by the lake...
And Adam found a churro, this was on his snack list. It wasn't what he wanted, he wanted a long one, we didn't know it was cut until after we bought it. And he didn't like it, but David did!
Then we moved on to the trains in Germany, this was a favorite again this trip!
We made it to Japan, for another snack on Adam's list, Shaved Ice!
He liked this snack!
It was getting late and these boys had been up since 3:30 am. The fireworks started and we headed for the monorail, we watched the finale from the monorail for the night.
