School Days

Adam loved dinosaur week and Chalk Walk!

Soccer with Daddy

Sometimes at Adam's soccer practice everyone gets to play.  These are the best days when Daddy is home too.

Puppy Love

These boys love dogs and would love one of their own.  But because that is not an option in our lives at the moment - they get creative and make so with what we do have!

Lunch with David

Sometimes we miss David during the day and we take him lunch at school.  These are the best days - all together.

A Day with Adam

Angie looks so forward to her days at home with Adam.  He is a delight to be around.  He loves to read books and swing outside.  He has finally decided he likes to ride his bike and climb trees.  His favorite is still Chick-Fil-A and so every so often we have a date at his favorite place.  He his such a sweet little boy - full of hugs and kisses.  These days are absolutely priceless!

 So much fun that he fell asleep on the way home, transferred to his room, and slept another 2 hours.

Together is Best

When the boys are apart Adam really misses his brother.  And when they are reunited after school they spend their minutes playing, talking, and creating together.

 Boots, shorts, and a bike helmet are all you need to walk a dog!

Dad Duty

Greg is a very involved dad.  He works really long hours, but when he is home the boys get the majority of his time. 
He has volunteered to be the troop leader of David's cub scout den.  So, that planning and organizing has taken quite a bit of time.  But he helped David earn his first badge and David was so very excited!

 Angie has had to take on more work on her position this year and is unable to be as flexible with her schedule.  So, Greg has stepped in when needed. 
Mimi and Ed are still above and beyond the job description of watching the boys. 
But on this day Greg needed to be available to pick up Adam from school so that Ed could pick up Mimi from the airport.  And it looks like these two enjoyed that little bit of one on one time together!

Early Morning and Late Nights - It's always a good time to read!

One morning we woke to find these two on the couch curled up with a book.  David was dressed for school.  He and Adam were snuggled up under David's blankie and David was reading to Adam.  More and More we are finding David spending minutes he would have been playing or watching tv, reading.  He is choosing reading and he is sharing his love of reading with his brother.

And now Adam also has a reading identity and asks to read to us just like David.
