The Clapper

David has a new trick. He hears something he enjoys or sees something he likes and CLAPS. He claps on command when in the mood and if the television is on during the day and he hears clapping he claps right along with the tv.

On The Move

It seems these days all Angie does is chase David around our house. And if she doesn't well, then, David seems to find trouble. He is fast and busy.

Ten Months

Today our baby boy turns 10 months old. We cannot believe how fast our time is going with David.

Rodeo Austin

Today we decided to have a fun family afternoon at the Austin Rodeo. We did not attend the actual rodeo - just the fair grounds to see the animals. We think David had a fun time seeing and touching the animals. He seems to have a love of animals just like his Daddy!

David's second pony ride. He seemed to enjoy this pony ride more than his ride at Kiddie Acres a few weeks ago. This pony's name was Mocha.

Dog Days of Spring

David loves Bella - he smiles and screams at any chance he has to be near her.
He lays and rolls on her bed and plays with her toys...
he crawls to the back door to see her anytime she is outside

and Bella loves the attention!

Little Leprechaun

On their visit a week ago Angie took pictures of David with his cousins for St. Patrick's Day. This is another photo shoot that did not produce one good picture of all three - but here are the best of the bunch.

Backyard Fun

After Greg returned home from work last night we spent some time playing outside. David squeals with delight every time we get close to walking outside.

Baby Teeth

David has a third tooth that has made its way through. Angie noticed it yesterday while she was swinging David outside.
He does not want us to touch it or lift his little lip, his gum is much more red and swollen than the first two teeth, so pictures of him taking care of those three precious teeth will have to do.
He LOVES to brush his teeth!

Where is David?

Last night at dinner David wanted to play... we all had fun!

This is the first time that he had initiated a game on his own - oh how we love him!

Dirt

Yesterday while Greg was taking his boards, Angie thought David may enjoy playing in the dirt outside. It was a beautiful day and David loves anything outdoors.
So, they packed up and headed to the plant nursery to choose some plants for David to plant in a container by the front door.
Angie chose a few plants and put them at David's feet in his stroller. They continued to look around and then headed for the checkout. As Angie placed the plants on the counter to pay she noticed there was only one bloom on the geranium - she thought she remembered more, but it was too late now.
They walked to the car. As Angie walked around to the front of the stroller to pull David out she pushed back his canopy and saw her sweet baby boy covered in pink flower petals. She now knew that there had been more blooms on those plants.
They loaded the car and headed home to have some fun in the dirt!

Anniversary

This week we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary.

Last night Greg's parents offered to come to our house and listen for David as he slept so that we could celebrate with a date night. This is the third time we have been to dinner since David was born.

Greg surprised Angie with a wonderful dinner at The Mansion at Judges Hill - we enjoyed our time together very much!
