New Years Eve

We celebrated New Year's with new neighbors and had a great time!

The gang...

Time for fireworks - which are not allowed in Canada so our neighbors were thrilled.

There were lots of snacks...

And our count down at 8:30 - it was midnight over the ocean... so it was just our own celebration.

Home and asleep by 9:00 - he was so tired his hands are above his head...

Family Time

We spent a couple of days with Angie's family.

There is a new Chick-Fil-A and the boys took full advantage - Aunt Christie even gifted them these new hats!

 

Grandad and David has been planning for weeks to bake a cake together...

Lila joined in and helped too!

There was park time...

And a hike...

Cousins played and played...

and relaxed...

We enjoyed David and Lila's cake...

And had one last Chick-Fil-A breakfast...

Before Gram and Grandad drove us back home...

It was a good break.

2 More Christmases

 We always have a morning after Christmas morning with Angie's family where we have a nice quiet Christmas with her immediate family before Greg has to drive back to Austin for work.

Gram and Grandad donate in each child's name to Samaritan's Purse.  The money donated in Adam's name went to provide 20 gospel books.  The money donated in David's name was for Bee Hives and equipment.

We were just missing Holly!

Then it was time for the annual money drop.  This year Grandad had a money gun... and the kids picked up the money faster than ever.

Adam was very happy - he grabbed the most this year.

After lunch we headed to Angie's aunt and uncle's house.  They finally caught a plane and were home.

One last Christmas celebration!

We had a great time seeing family and spending time enjoying each other.
