Last Day of Grades 6 and 3!

It is so hard to believe that we have come to the finish line of 6th and 3rd grades.  Both boys said that this year went too fast... they both found their rhythm quickly in their new places, Adam with real grades and David navigating 8 different teachers.

Both of these boys worked hard and made straight A's all year long.

We are the fortunate ones that have had administrators and teachers that are dedicated to giving their best to children every day.

Adam's teacher gave an award to each child...

Adam got the Eager Beaver Award for being willing to do whatever was asked of him, working hard, and being enthusiastic 

One last picture with Ms. Oakman on the way out of school...

David came home with 2 awards.  He got The Chicken Noodle Award for being a SOUPer athlete and The Fried Egg Award for being a student that always produces EGG_CELLENT work.

We could not be more proud of these boys and their hard work.

Last week of Third Grade

 Adam's teacher planned a fun last week for children's.  They camped all week.  They went on hikes, read inside of tents, made Smores, write spooky stories... and made the best memories.

We celebrated the boys on their actual birthdays... especially so they don't get over shadowed by the last week of school.

David chose Chick-Fil-A for breakfast....

Then it was time for presents from mom and dad...

 

Angie took him Chipotle for lunch at school...

And for dinner he choose make your own pizza night...

He had a cookie cake for dessert... with enough left over for his lunch all week.

Tuesday night Adam went to sleep for the last time as a nine year old...

And woke up to his request of Shipley donuts for breakfast...

Then presents from mom and dad...

He was on the birthday board at school...

And his class celebrated him with more donuts, his request.

HE even got to share the with the teachers...

Angie took him Chick-Fil-A for lunch, but he did not want her to stay because he wanted to talk with his friends...

His friend Tobias requested a picture...

For dinner his choice was homemade cheeseburgers and fries... he was so tired by the end of the night he went to bed without cake... it was a full celebration of the boys that we love.

Adam turns 10!

Adam has been looking forward to double digits for so long... and here we are 10 years later...

He invited to friends on an afternoon adventure.  He specifically wanted Angie to pick them up from school... and it also happened to be Kona Ice Day.  So, after school Angie met them on the playground for Kona Ice...

Then we headed to Altitude Trampoline Park for 2 hours of fun...

After 2 hours of constant running and jumping we headed to Chick-Fil-A - where they had their own table...

And back to our house for cake...

And presents...

The night ended with David finding a snake... and a sleepover with his best friend.
