Christmas morning! Santa came. The cookies and milk were gone and the reindeer ate the carrots.
Stockings were full and gifts under the tree - the anticipation for David was big. It took him three hours to fall asleep on Christmas Eve and he was up at 2:00am asking to come downstairs.
We held them off until 5:00, but then they were restless and Christmas morning began.
Down they stairs they come...
Santa left a letter this year - making sure that the gifts could be shared.
David got a new mountain bike...
And Adam a Nintendo Switch!
They got a stuffed warm "Holly"
And Oculus to share!
Stockings were full!
Elfie remembered that David told him to tell Santa on Christmas Eve that he wanted a gift card to In and Out... Santa came through.
The boys bought us gifts from their school Holiday shop. David got Angie a beautiful necklace and earring set. Adam got her beautiful pink earrings and a pink key chain.
Greg got a Cowboys cup and bumper sticker from Adam and a Best Dad mug from David.

Holly got a crinkle toy in her stocking - and she loves it!

Popcorn for family movie night...
A potters wheel for Adam...
A car engine to build for David...
David bought Holly a new bandanna from the Holiday shop...
Then it was on to Mimi and Ed's for Christmas morning...
Sunglasses were in stockings again this year...
David got a new pair of running shoes!
Adam got supplies to build a reading fort...
Holly waited patiently...
Mimi got a new robe...
Lego and athletic shirts for the boys...
While Mimi cooked breakfast the boys played...
Adam's favorite part about Christmas morning breakfast are the poppers!
After breakfast and a visit with Aunt Melissa we drove to Houston to Uncle Rusty and Aunt Nancy's house...

And more presents. There were walkie talkies, art sets, and a new amp for David's guitar!
All the kids received a copy of the Constitution from Zach.
Sunday morning we spent time ith Gram and Grandad. There were board games, a scavenger hunt for David to use his metal detector that Grandad set up, a great big selection of rocks with a target for Adam to use his sling shot and Grandad made grilled burgers and sausage for lunch.
Adam has been using his new swim gear at practice this week...
And Darth Vader and The Mandalorian came at bedtime Sunday night...
And Lego building hasn't stopped all week.
It should would be wonderful if this time together lasted just a little longer!
