Adam’s First Sleepover

 Adam had his first sleepover last Saturday.  He went to his friend Oliver's house.  They ate pizza, played games and asked for lights out at 9:00.  The next morning Angie went to pick up Adam and he was so happy - he and his friends were planning for a "double sleepover."  They really wanted to sleep at Adam's house Sunday night... it didn't work for our plans, but we see many more sleep overs in our future.

Holly’s First Nerf Gun

Holly loves to chase the ball... but in the heat the boys dont love to go throw it for her.  So, Angie found a Nerf Dog gun... it comes with 12 tennis balls and the blast up to 75 feet for Holly to chase and retrieve.

Everyone loves it.

 

Another Olympic Runner

A few weeks ago Gabby Thomas, Olympian came to David's track practice...  Gabby runs the 200 meters...

This past week a past Olympian came to his practice.  This is Tabarie Joil Henry.  He specialized in the 400 meters... he is from the Virgin Islands and ran at Texas A&M.  David was not sure what to ask him... we think the whole team was a little star struck.

A Doggie Celebration

Friday Holly's friend, Hazel, turned 7.  So we went to find a birthday treat to celebrate Hazel.

Holly chose a bone for herself...

And a cake for Hazel.  Hazel didn't know what to think about her cake.

Then the boys and Hazel went swimming in Hazel's pool.

On our walk one night these two were posing... just don't want to forget the little parts of their personalities.

 

An Adventure with Mimi and Ed

 Last week Angie had a full week of work and that meant these two were able to spend a week with Mimi and Ed.  They decided to have a midweek adventure.

Wednesday started off with a big breakfast...

And then a little road trip to Waco.

First stop was the Texas Rangers Museum...

Then the Dr. Pepper Museum...

The boys each got to make their own drinks...

Then dinner at Twisted Root Hamburger...

They had a little swimming at the hotel before bed time.

Thursday morning they went to Cameron Park Zoo before heading home.

Thank you Mimi and Ed for a fun road trip!  And they both came home with souvenirs and big smiles.

National Ice Cream Day

 Gram let us know that yesterday was National Ice Cream Day.  So after a fun afternoon of Slip and Slide - we headed for Ice Cream at Adam's favorite spot - Baskin Robbins.  David waited for chocolate chip cookies at home.  But Daddy and Adam each had a scoop.  Adam tried Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - which he said was just as good as Dipn' Dots Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.  Daddy had Cookies n Creme.

Holly could not stand not being included - so she joined for a short time.
