Pajama Day

David is in the middle of Red Ribbon Week at school.  Each day there is a different theme to dress in.  Monday was wear red, Tuesday was favorite outfit, and yesterday was pajama day.  David was so excited about pajama day this year.  I t also happened to be a rainy cold morning so it was a perfect day to be in snuggly warm pj's.

A David Update

Last Monday in the freezing cold, pouring down rain, David still had horseback riding lessons.  Angie couldn't believe that he was still going to have an hour of riding... the weather was so bad she actually went and sat in the car.  David spent the hour herding cattle in what David referred to as a cattle drive.  Angie was proud of David... he didn't really want to go, but he did.  And he stayed out in the 42 degree rain and never complained.  But on the way home he did mention that after December he may want to take a break from horseback.

In science his study has been around heat causing change.  Friday there made smores using heating pads...

 And they watched temperature change when he was added...

 And taken away.
  

 The Round Rock Fire Department came and gave a safety presentation...

And our sweet David is still enjoying school!

Halloween Fun

On Friday night one of the schools that Angie works in had a fall Halloween carnival.  The boys and Angie went and the boys had so much more fun than Angie expected.  It was a wet cold night, but the boys never even noticed.

 This mom was so surprised - David was able to get three of the balls in the tiny jars.

 David even found a little frog.

We Have Been Booed

When we got home from church yesterday the boys found a surprise on the front porch... we had been booed.
A sweet neighbor left a bag of treats on our front porch and the boys loved it.  Now it is our turn to Boo friends.

Christmas in October

These two love to get snuggly warm.  So with the cold weather this week we have our fire place going and pj's on after school.  Angie took advantage and caught these two on a good day.  They decided they just couldn't squeeze together on the bench this year.:(
