Character Dress Up Day

The boys each had an opportunity to participate in Book Character Dress Up Day on Halloween at school this year.  At first, David was not sure he was going to participate.

But After Angie got home from dropping off Adam at school she came back to get David and he had changed into his favorite book character, the same character he was last year.

He had a great day.

Adam was a dragon from his favorite book series, Wings of Fire.

He had so much fun.

Pumpkin Carving

 David made "pumpkin ice cream."

Both boys chose their own pumpkins.  They made their own designs. And... they carved them most on their own.  These boys are getting so big. 

Riverfest

 Angie volunteered at the eating contests, pickles and pies, the corn shucking contests, and the chili cookoff, pie baking contest, and salsa competition.

So, these are the only pictures from Riverfest this year.

Old Town Trunk or Treat

Adam's Trunk or Treat at school was moved inside because of high winds... here he is waiting to go in tonight.

He found Oliver right away...

 

Then they found Gabo...

And they were off to get candy...

They found Ms. Oakman - Adam loved that her theme was Pokémon. 

Then they found Ms. Schock, their principal...

And Aunt Amy...

And their first grade teacher, Ms. Johnson... its fun that these three have been together for 3 years.

These two were very patient while their moms cleaned up when it was over.

Angie’s Birthday

 Angie was able to spend 4 hours in a virtual meeting at Teaches College while Greg and the boys had a boys morning.

Then we had Chick-Fil-A for lunch and a special chocolate cake for dessert.

The very best birthday with these boys.

Lunch with Adam

 Angie finally had a Friday off and spent it at school with Adam.  She brought Chick-Fil-A and enjoyed a bunch of third grade boys.

Holly Turns 3

Holly is 3!

We wanted to have a party for her, but it just didn't happen.

But we did celebrate Holly with new pj's and a puppy birthday bow.

 

Broken Wrist

Well, after a week with a swollen wrist we took David to the doctor.

It is official his wrist is broken.

A trampoline park birthday party and lots of friends - leads to a broken wrist.

He showed up to chruch with his best friend also with a broken arm - football.

And a special drink from the new coffee shop in his youth department made up for the broken wrist.

County Line

After church we stopped at the County Line... and David tried a bite of Greg's rib.

He loved it.
