Adam's Third Grade Musical Program

Adam worked so hard for his third grade program this year.  It was about different composers and they sang songs to the music that was composed by each composer.

He practiced at home for weeks so that he could be ready.

On the night of the performance he said he was nervous because there were still some words he didn't remember good thing the whole third grad performed together.

Adam loves music and this was a really great show.

Here is Adam practicing the words at home...

And here he is, our little musician, Tuesday night.

The art teacher had the third graders create art to be on display at their performance... Adam loved this too.

Adam’s Art Show

Adam had art that was chosen to be in the Round Rock ISD art show.  All 35 elementary schools had art in the show, each school only chose 10 artists, from all 6 grade levels.  Adam is one of those artists.

Last night was the show where we got to see Adam's art displayed.

Adam with his art teacher, Ms. Morrison.

And when David was in third grade his art was chosen to be on display at the Round Rock public library.  The Saturday of Spring break we went to view his art, thankfully, because that Monday we went into lock down.
These boys are intelligent and talented.

Spring Break

We had probably the most restful spring break that we have ever had.
It began Friday evening with perfect weather.  Angie, David and Adam played out front and at the park...

Saturday morning we went to David's track meet and these two read the whole way...

Sunday we went swimming at a neighbors pool that David is taking care of for a few weeks...

Monday started with Chick-Fil-A...

And new Crocks!

Both boys spent time creating with materials that went from trash to treasure...

We spent 2 different mornings at the skate park...

There was some "fancy drink making"...

We painted pottery one day with gift certificates that Mimi gave the boys for Christmas!

We spent lots of time together in the car making memories... little did we know that this car would soon be a memory...

Here is David at a car dealership with Greg enjoying a taco because...

they bought a new family car...

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day...

by making birthday lists at Target...

Getting green donuts at Krispy Kreme...

David chose an assortment of green donuts...

Adam opted for Amy's Ice Cream...

We did dog sit our neighbor, Ely...

We visited the library, Angie and David's first time at the new library...

We celebrated birthdays...

And then all too soon - it was back to school.  Angie snapped this picture of David going back to school because he all of a sudden looked very much like a middle schooler...

It was the best week of memory making!
