Cousins at Walsh and Old Town

Jake started working for the school district. For the last 2 weeks of May he assigned to David's middle school and Adam's elementary school.

It was so much fun to see Jake at school.

Also, Krista went to help her mom at school.  While she was there, she stopped by to see Adam.

 

Family Birthday Celebration

Gram, Grandad, Mimi, Ed, Aunt Christie all celebrate our boys so well.

The first week of summer Aunt Christie, Gram, Grandad, Luke, Lila came to visit and brought gifts.

We went to visit a university to see if Luke might be interest.

The weekend before Mimi celebrated the boys with special dinner and dessert. Adam requested brownies...

David requested Apple Pie.

Adam was thrilled with this giant wearable turtle shell.

David got a mouth breather that he wanted like Cousin Luke's.

 These boys are so lucky to be so loved.

Last Day of 4th and 7th Grades

 Today is the last day of seventh grade for David and the last day of fourth grade for Adam.  Adam will have a class party and David has 7th grade field day. It is crazy to compare their growth from teh first day of school to the last day!

Adam's party started with signing beach balls or signing the t-shirts they tie-dyed.

There were free centers...

And some breakfast snacks.

Adam said hi to his best friends Gabo...

And Oliver.  They were all in difference classes this year - and missed being together terribly.

Ms. Tabitha was Adam's enrichment teacher.  He was working ahead in math.

Ms. Byars was his math and science teacher.

Ms. Garcia was his ELA and Social Studies teacher.

Ms. Bowman taught first grade with Angie and has been in Adam's school since kindergarten.  But she retired this year.

We are ready for summer!

Flemings Birthday Celebration

We celebrated both boys turning another year older with a "fancy" dinner.  David has been wanting to go to a nice steak house for years and turning 14 seemed like the perfect reason to celebrate.

Anytime we are in the car now Angie sits in the back so that the boys don't argue.

The table was decorated with confetti and both boys had a birthday card from Flemings waiting for them.

Adam ordered chicken and ate every last morsel of chicken.

David ordered steak.

The boys each received a special dessert...

Happy 14th birthday David. Happy 11th birthday Adam! We love you both so much.
 

Adam's Birthday

 Adam turned 11 today.  We started his birthday celebration last night after the last day of school.

Angie picked up David early from middle school.  Then they went and picked up Adam and his three friends after school, they all wanted to stay until the end of the day.  Mimi let us borrow her car so that we could all fit in one vehicle.

We headed to Dartem Uo and Greg met us there because it is just down the street from his office.

So much fun playing Nerf Wars when you don't have to pick up your darts.

After Nerf Wars they boys played in the arcade.

Then Angie took the boys to Chick-Fil-A for dinner.

After that back home for cake..

And presents.

After that was a sleepover with Oliver.  Today, Adam's birthday he requested homemade waffles for breakfast.

And Mighty Fine for lunch.

Happy 11th Birthday Adam.  And Happy first day of summer.  We love you so much!
