Pajamas, A Stuffie, and a Tray Full of Nuggets

Adam's class earned pajama day today.  They were also allowed to bring one lovie or stuffie.  Adam had a very hard time deciding which one to bring and finally settled on Foster.  HE also wore his glow in the dark dino pajamas.

 

 Adam also decided to buy his lunch today for the very first time.  He went through the line and bought chicken nuggets and apple juice.  He was so excited!  I sure is nice to have friends that send us pictures of the boys as school!

 To make the day just perfect David stopped by to say hi to Adam.  It is also fun that their lunch times over lap and they are in the cafeteria together for 20 minutes.

A Week of Memories

Gram and Grandad came all the way to Austin early Friday morning to get to Round Rock in time for the boys' lunch at 10:45.  They treated both boys to Chick-Fil-A.  Angie was working on a different side of Austin and didn't get to run by and grab a picture.  They spent the entire weekend with us, swimming, riding bikes, going to soccer games and somehow Angie didn't snap one single picture!:(

Also this week David was able to invite a friend for lunch as a behavior reward.  He invited Megan to join him at his table and all of these friends were happy about it!

 

 David requested one with just he and Megan.

 Angie also got to swing by and give Adam a little hug too!

 These two love bedtime books... and always ask for more long after it is time for lights out!

2 Cub Scouts

Last Monday night Adam and David had their first Pack meeting of the year.  Adam is a Lion and received his uniform, book, and first recognition as a Lion.  He dressed himself for this meeting in his ninja vest, SWAT team hat, favorite orange shirt and Pokémon shirt, crocks with socks.  This is a perfect picture of Adam at age 6!

 

 Yesterday both boys had Den meetings.  Angie took both boys to David's meeting first.  They made first aide kits and put up tents.

 Then it was time for Adam's den meeting at our house.  There were only 2 of the three, but they had fun!

Cub Scout Sunday's seems to be how we will end our weekends this fall.

What We Have Been Doing

On Labor Day we woke up to a fire truck and ambulance across the street.  WE never found out why, but the boys loved the giant fire truck.

 David and his friend Megan have had two "late overs" on Friday nights.  We don't do sleep overs yet, but late overs are almost the same.  They play, or in this case read, until about 10:00 and then we walk Megan home with flashlights.

 We still have lots of fun dress up that comes down stairs!

 

 David went and did his own hair for his rock and roll dress up...

David made a video message for his friend Megan on her birthday morning and texted it to her... He is pretending to be a character from Dude Perfect... Megan and David both love Dude Perfect.

 And these friends decided to pull their tickets together at Chuck E Cheese for a total of 2100 tickets.  They all ended up with a slinky and candy.

It has been a fun month.  Adam started soccer this week and both boys have Cub Scouts tonight.
