November Memories that make us Smile

David matched his braces color to our neighbor.

David found a snake on a walk home with Adam from Oliver's house.

It is rare that we got grocery shopping as a family, but when they come along, it is always more fun.

Luke and Lila’s Birthday

 Luke and Lila had their birthday party this year at the archery range. It was tough, but both boys had a great time.

Thanksgiving with Cousins

We had a fun Thanksgiving in Houston with cousins.

 

Adam’s Thanksgiving Lunch

 Greg and Angie were able to join Adam for his Thanksgiving lunch and bookfair this year.  It was a lunch, just the three of us, in the middle of the day.

Adam chose this posted for his room at the book fair.

Making Pottery

The boys made pottery turkeys for Angie for a sweet gift.  First the used clay to make the turkey.
 

Then after they had been fired, they painted them...

And then they were fired one last time and glazed.

Such a fun activity to have forever.

 It is a fun Sunday night activity to do puzzles with Mimi.

Friday Night Swim Meets are Hard!

Friday nights Adam is tired, but he has been trying to attend more swim meets to hopefully get a "B" time to qualify for championship meets.  However, he is not full of energy and usually adds time, but he makes the most of these meets.

 But still sees this opportunity as an opportunity to try to get his "B" time and celebrates that he is never last in his heat.

Cross Country Season

Between David's club track team, Texas Thunder, and his Middle School team, Walsh, David had a great cross-country season.  He came in the top 6 of each race he entered this season.  He was running against 7th and 8th grade boys and in many meets even high school runners.

He ended up placing 5th in district, again 7th and 8th grade boys.  His boys team was first in district our all.  We are so proud of his hard work and dedication.
