Graduating Cousins

We had a busy weekend of celebrating High School Graduates.
Our niece Kayla graduated from Round Rock High School Saturday afternoon. We couldn't attend because seats were limited. Because of this Angie and the boys made plans to celebrate and attend their cousin Zach's graduation from Kingwood High school in Houston Saturday night. Greg watched Kayla graduate from Round Rock while Angie and the boys drove to Houston.
We attended Zach's graduation dinner before Graduation.

We woke up extra early Sunday morning to get the boys back to Kayla's graduation party. Angie already had plans by the time this was planned, but we changed them so that at least the boys could attend.

Celebrating 9 and 6

It was a busy week with birthdays and last days of school. We want these two to know how much they were wanted and that they are worth celebrating again and again. Since they always share a party - on their actual birth dates we let them choose meals and make decisions.
Each of the boys decided he wanted to celebrate a little differently.
Adam wanted a single cookie for his birthday dessert. He designed a cookie with the 5 men from Dude Perfect with a Capital A at the top. He took his design to the cookie shop that he loves and they loved talking with him about his vision.

And here is how it turned out.

David wanted 2 dozen cookies to share with his class on his birthday since it was the second to last day of school. He designed small cookies with a DP, for Dude Perfect, a basketball. HE even labeled his sketch for the cookie artists. They were impressed with his level of detail.

The one thing David really wanted for his birthday was not to be 9 in a five harness seat. And Angie was busy the night before his birthday working and cooking dinner. She didn't realize Greg made his birthday wish come true until the morning of his birthday when it was time for school. He loves this new found freedom.

Also, on his birthday was a school wide kickball tournament. So, we sent in Dude Perfect tattoos for the class to be kick ball ready! HIs teacher is great about posting pictures for families!

Grandpa Ed had Adam at home that day. He and Adam took David Chick-Fil-A for his birthday lunch!

David chose Double Dave's Pizza for this birthday dinner. And his friend Megan celebrated with us!

David really chose Double Dave's because he wanted the Chocolate Chip Pizza...

The morning of Adam's birthday he chose chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast! Also, he wanted to wear his new shirt from Gram and Grandad. David chose his new shirt from Mimi and Grandpa Ed.
