Pandemic Week 18 - Summer Week 9

Saturday a package came in the mail for the boys!

From Gram and Grandad... Gram alsways sends a jone, but then the boys call to hear the answer.

They were so happy to see Chick-Fil-A gift cards in the box!

So many fun things to do...

Also, Saturday David's desk was finished - he is ready for school.

We went out for family ice cream treat in Downtown Round Rock...

And saw a rainbow...

Greg and Adam built a Jurassic World...

Monday started with a walk... many days David has been walking Holly alone because Angie is back at work and her meetings start early.  In the spring we could go later in the day for walks, but it is too hot for Holly now.

Adam painted a dragon from his box of crafts from Gram and Grandad...

And the boys spent almost 4 hours making clay dinosaurs together - also from the treasure box from Gram and Grandad...

Nash came over to play with Adam...

Tyler and Reese came over to play with David...

David has a Venus Fly Trap he is growing from Gram and Grandad - Grandad had one has a kid too.

And of course more Poop - Gram and Grandad sent Poop Slime - the boys love it!!!

Also, David's best friend Megan was having a minor surgery Tuesday so David made her a card and stook it to her Monday.

And Tuesday afternoon she was allowed to play...

They were acting social distanced - since Megan had been in the surgery center... it lasted 2 seconds.

Adam made another craft from Gram and Grandad Tuesday evening while Angie cooked dinner.

Our next door neighbor helped both boys with bike tune ups, replacing tire tubes, greasing their chains, working on the gears and breaks - so the boys wrote thank you notes and left them on his door step.

Wednesday between meetings Angie and the boys baked cookies...

Adam was most interested in eating the brown sugar...

After a taste test we took some to David's third grade teacher along with some of the boys baby items.  She is having her first baby next week and it is a boy.

on the way home we stopped for snowcones.

Adam found some Pokemon sunglasses!

And played in our water beads...

Thursday started with a morning walk...

And building of dominoes... Angie had a long work morning.

Megan and David out their money together from their mowing business and bought a 3D printer.

They also played with dominoes...

About 3:00 on Tuesday we headed to Greg's parents to see Greg's Great Aunt BRenda and Uncle Darrell visiting from Texarkana. 

Friday started with a birthday parade for our old neighbor - Alix.  She turned 15 - which seems impossible.  She was 6 when we moved here.

Friday night the boys did a few tricks on our evening walk...

Friday Holly was lounging in bed when Angie couldn't find her...

And the boys got to use their Chick-Fil-A cards and have lunch at the pool with friends.

Saturday we went to the park...

And enjoyed some snow cones... it is a nice cold inexpensive summer treat!

And we said good night to one more week of "pandemic life."
