We are happy to have a healthy baby boy - but he is still very much on the small side. Angie will have to take David into the doctor every couple of weeks to monitor his weight.
Here are his stats:
Six Months:
Height: 24 and 3/4 inches - 5th percentile
Weight:15 pounds 1.5 ounces - 8th percentile
Head Circumference: 39.5 cm - 5th percentile
Nine Months:
Height: 28 inches - 25th percentile
weight: 15 pounds 11 ounces - below 5th percentile
Head Circumference: 42.5 cm - below 5th percentile
David grew 4 inches but did not make gains in the weight department. The doctor was a bit concerned, but over all felt like all is well because David has met all of his developmental milestones.
With this information we have to try and get David to drink more milk and begin introducing him to table foods a little early. We plan to have many messes in our future.
