This past weekend we made a trip to Houston to celebrate our nephew and niece as they turn five and one. Their actual birthday's are not until November 16th and 17th, yes they are 4 years and one day apart, but with the holiday season approaching Angie's sister planned ahead and we celebrated early!
Luke's 5th birthday party was first thing Saturday morning. He had a difficult time deciding on a party theme, so it was a Cars 2, Transformer party at Pump It Up. David loved it!
He was full of energy and could not stop smiling!

he found a ball

Daddy and David on the big slide

Gram played a game of basketball with David; she was a basket ball player in her younger years

wonder what we were pondering

Can you find the birthday boy? Hint, he is in the thrown with his little sister Lila, doesn't David look cute in his party hat?

there is the birthday boy:)

David is ready to get that hat off

mmmm, cake

Then it was Lila's turn. Her party was a simply pink party theme at her house.

one of the games was to catch pink butterflies, David loved it and then...

he spotted cousin Luke's car. Luke's cousin Zach was in it, but David squished himself in anyway. So much for catching butterflies.

then it was time for Lila's cake, which was actually cupcakes since we had Transformer cake at Luke's party that morning

she was most interested in the confetti on top of the cupcake

sweet cousins

Lila has never been one for a pacifier, but she did seem to like to take David's away. Funny that Angie's sister never wanted a pacifier, but always took Angie's away.

then the boys settled down with a bath, Luke's idea:)

A fun filled Saturday, thank you Philpot Family!
