Our Valentine

Kovidh's Birthday!

David was invited to his friend Kovidh's second birthday party and we all three enjoyed the afternoon. The party fell right at David's nap time. We were unsure of how missing a nap would affect David, but he did well. We are spoiled with a baby that has such an easy going spirit, he takes after Greg with that one!
The party was at the Hoppin' House and we had lots of jumping fun!





















Mommy had the job of telling this little one is was time to leave; she tried to make it better with a kiss...

All Aboard

is what David says every time we walk past this in the mall.
Nothing makes him happier than crawling around on this train and asking his friends to come aboard!

Pizza Man

Yesterday afternoon Greg picked David up after work and on the way home David repeatedly told Daddy, "Pizza Man." So, when they arrived home David told Mommy, "Pizza Man." Then Daddy said, " Gatti -Land." And just like that it was decided that last night would be David's first trip to Gatti -Land!
Upon arriving we saw that Wednesday is kids eat free night, lucky for us. Then upon entering the building we saw everyone under two always eats free... good to remember.

We ate first and our sweet little guy was a good eater. He had a few bites of mac and cheese and a piece and a half of pizza.

David is getting so big, he now wants to drink from cups like the ones that Mommy and Daddy use, does not even want a straw.

we finished our evening all playing air hockey

this is definitely a once in a while activity, but it was a fun, spontaneous, first, Wednesday night trip to Gatti-Land

Potty Time

David has become very interested in using the potty.
Yesterday, Angie found this after leaving David for a few minutes on his own...
diaper on the floor, toilet paper on top of the toilet, water in the toilet running, he loves to flush...

David brushing his teeth with toothpaste smeared on most everything except the toothbrush...

and when David saw Mommy he grabbed a towel and ran to Mommy and Daddy's room to hide

Morning

David usually wakes between 5:30 and 6:00. Most mornings he asks for "Mommy's bed." This morning he asked to "Go Down," which means he wanted to play downstairs and skip a slow wake up in Mommy's bed. So, we headed downstairs and then we made our way back up, with a few extra things.
David decided that Mommy's bed would be a fun place to drive his trucks, cars, and trains.


and after all of that play, he lined them all up for a "night night."
