Galveston 2016

Gram and Grandad gifted us with another great beach vacation this year.  Because Greg has started his own business he was unable to come.  We would say that was the only down of our entire trip.
Angie and the boys left Sunday for Galveston.  The boys have become great little travelers.  All they need is their blankies and Chick-Fil-A... and it was Sunday so we all had to prepare for no Chick-Fil-A.  We made up for it with a new movie to watch.
With all of the traffic and two stops they made it in about 6 hours. And once they arrived Adam headed straight for the beach!

Mama and David changed and then met Adam out at the beach.  Aunt Christie was already there so Adam could stay with her.

After some fun at the beach we headed back to the beach house to eat dinner and rest.

The next day was full of beach fun.  We were at the beach by 9:00 and stayed all day!  Our boys did not want to leave.  They do love the beach!

After lunch we headed back out to the beach for more fun!

He does not like clothes or shoes and sometimes Mama gives up!
The ice cream truck comes everyday and Adam remembered that on his own from last summer.  He was so excited for ice cream!

Fishing was his favorite!

He slept great on the beach at nap time!  Adam asked Angie to bring his bed to the beach rather than go home.  But he did still ask for his "night night."
Shrimp!  He caught several and loved it!
David loved finding hermit crabs!

After hotdogs and hamburgers for dinner we took a walk on the beach for some pictures!

 Then home for bed!

The next morning some of us were more eager to get back to the beach than others... our boys were eager.  So off we went.

It rained after just a couple of hours on the beach.  So we stayed at the beach house the rest of the day.  Gram brought games for all to play.

And then we went to dinner... the wind was crazy!

While waiting for dinner Adam started doing push up and then Lila joined him.

After dinner we took on more walk on the beach before heading to bed.

Our last full day Gram and Grandad treated us to Moody Gardens!

And then we spent the rest of our time at the beach!

It rained again, but created a beautiful rainbow.

The next morning we headed back to Austin.  But first a stop at Chick-Fil-A!

 And then naps!

Home Sweet Home - They were loving each other and it had to be captured!

Thank you Gram and Grandad for giving us time away, for cousins, grandparents, and brothers to spend time together!
