Fun at School

David's school is in the middle of a fundraiser right now.  Tis is a fundraiser that Luke has been doing for years at his school.  Poor Gram and Grandad - they will have three of their four grandchildren asking for pledges in the same week.
Our little family is new to fundraising, but David is loving it.  HIs class is the top class pledged in the entire school of over 800.  And he is in the top three of his class.
So, they earned Show and Tell and Crazy Hat Day... Here is a picture his teacher sent!

Because he is one of the top 3 in his school  he got to throw a pie in a BoosterThon's face... Active Andrew.  David LOVED this!
Getting Ready...

 Smash!
 Laughing!

We love that his teacher shares these moments with us!  Thank you Ms. G!

The Best Smiles

These Smiles just make you smile!

There will be a day when his face will always be clean... but for now this is a true picture of our little Adam... A mess most of the time!
David has a great friend named Megan.  This is the second year they have been in the same class and she lives around the corner.  They thought this was great riding in the same car on the way to a birthday party.

Worn Out

These days are hard... not sleeping in their beds, early mornings, long days at school, and then they crash.  These sweet faces - just never get enough!

Fell asleep waiting for David to get home from school...

After Stroller Strides he was worn out...
Fell asleep on Angie at the dinner table...
In Angie's lap - sound asleep...
This night we noticed they were sleeping in the exact same position.  Brothers - Love!

P is for Pumpkin

Last winter after Thanksgiving we placed our pumpkins and gourds on the side of our house.  The boys watched them decompose through the winter.  This spring we had a vine sprout and all summer we watched as these tiny pumpkins grow.  We are almost ready to harvest in time for the first day of fall!

P is for Popcorn

Wednesday at Stroller Strides we had a "P" day.  We sang songs about pink and purple.  We did lots of planks.  And the kids made popcorn!

Camp Out

Both of our Air Conditioning units went out a few weeks ago.  It was hot!  We were going to try and tough it out until it cooled off.  We made it about three weeks before Angie gave in.  We are thankful for sweet friends that came to our rescue.  Our house is cool at no charge.
The boys loved it because they were able to sleep downstairs for a few nights.  I wouldn't say any of us got great sleep, but they thought it was fun.

Clarification

Adam is now very specific that he is NOT a baby.

It is funny because when David was three he was also very clear that when Angie affectionately referred to him as baby he was offended.
Now that David is older Angie still refers to David as baby sometimes.  She always has with both boys... now that Adam is three he genially is offended too by this term.  She explains what she means, but he is not really ok with begin referred to as baby.

Well, at the bus stop on Tuesday with Grandpa Ed Waiting for David, a lady said to Adam, "How are you baby?"  He quickly corrected her with an emphatic, "I'm NOT a baby."  So she corrected it by saying, "How are you sweetie?"  His response, "I'm NOT sweetie I'm human!"
