Angie has had the opportunity to be guest reader in David's class this year. And she almost always takes advantage of the situation and plans some coaching into those read alouds. Angie has also been asked by David's teacher to come in as a coach and model some things. David really likes these days and tells Adam all about it. And Adam knows that Angie also did some teaching of teachers at his school. But he also wants a guest reader in his class. So, Angie talked with both David and Adam's teachers and planned for David to be the guest reader in Adam's classroom.
David took this very seriously thinking about what books he would read. And he also wanted to do a little teaching about fiction stories. Here he is lesson planning... he went and helped himself to Angie's typical planning supplies...

As they were walking back to the car David said, " I had to smile. And it is hard to read when you are smiling. I tried to stop smiling because even my dimples were hurting.
