The Final Mother's Day Tea

And one more tradition ended today.  Angie celebrated her last Mother's Day tea with Adam.  Six years of the most special moments of being a mom.  This is a tradition that will be missed.  Angie was looking forward to today even more because David missed his very last Mother's Day Tea with the one and only time he has had strep.  So, tis was new for Angie and Adam..
On our way to school!
Adam was the line leader today... he was the first to find his "princess."  The Ready Rockets made sure to treat every mom as if she was a princess.
 Mama's Royal Table
Mimi was able to come this year!
 Our perfect littlest prince!
Adam was sure to tell Angie that he painted her name in gold on her hat and painted two gold hearts.  Angie's name - "Mome"
 A special poem -
 Adam authored a fairy tale...
And gave her a box of gold!
Adam really wanted this chocolate... so Angie let him have one.  It was a disappointment with nuts inside.

This smile will always make our hearts melt.

 Trying for better lit photos...

This was a fun morning to always remember!

Second Grade Awards

David made us proud again this year!  He received shining star in writing and shining star in math.  He also received a reading minutes award.  He has worked hard this year, but also has had so much fun learning with his teacher and peers.  We are so very fortunate that he has had another wonderful year of learning.

 David with his teacher!
Mimi came and even took David Chick-Fil-A for lunch.  He was really looking forward to Mimi staying with him for lunch!

The Three Old Town Ready Rockets were all three Shining Stars in all academic areas!

David and Noah have become good friends this year.
Mrs. Tidwell has been a perfect match for our little boy, this week has asked her to call him Rocky instead of David and she played right into his request!
David and Mrs. Schock... she has a special place for his little heart!

Muddy Mile

This morning Greg and David ran the Muddy Mile.  They had another fun run and ran so fast that Angie couldn't keep up with them and Adam to get good pictures.

Blue and Gold Banquet

David had his Blue and Gold Banquet for Boys Scouts on Saturday evening.  He earned all of his badges and will move up to Bear in about a month.  There was a petting zoo for entertainment that Adam loved... he spent most of the night with the animals!
