Fifth Grade Field Trip - The Last One

David took his last field trip the week after spring break... it was a great day.  Children went to a ranch and were able to move from activity to activity and friend to friend all day long.  They had choices of paddle boats, mini golf, basketball, bocce ball, teacher ball, obstacle courses, corn hole.  They were given delicious bbq sandwiches with unlimited drinks all day long.  It was a perfect way to bring back a field trip after 2 years without.
Here is the fifth grade students and teachers...

And a little treat on the way home.  A stop at a favorite milkshake shop.  And David got to rid home with Megan and spend the afternoon with her because Angie had to run and pick up Adam from school.

It was a really great day!

Living Museum - Henry Ford

Friday, Adam had his Living Museum, a second grade tradition.  He was given Henry Ford to research and then present at the museum.  He had an idea that ne needed a suit and hat and put this costume together.  Greg rememebred that Angie had a cousin with a model A, and Grandad helped us get pictures for the project.  On this day, a week before the deadline, the suit and pictures came in the mail.

Then Adam decided he wanted to make a timeline of all of the Ford cars that have been on our family, Grandad and Gram helped us again trying to get pictures of the Mustang's we have had through the years.  We could not find pictures of all of Greg's trucks, but we got his most recent Ford truck.

Adam on Friday morning - or should we say here is Henry Ford.  He word this costume all day - he still had on the suit and hat at 8:00pm at night while he ate dinner.  This little guy loved this project!

This smile!

Adam's teacher sent this...

And added this to their Instagram account.

Adam ready to begin his speech, he said it over and over again for an hour.

Bluebonnet Pictures

It's a spring tradition in Texas... and these boys always make it fun.
These smiles were the best way to begin our Sunday morning.
The way that they can make each other laugh like no one else is pure joy.
