School Carnival

After no carnival for 2 years it was back for David's last year of elementary!  The school carnival was Friday night.  The boys had so much fun.  They were kind of on their own with friends... which they wanted.   Angie was selling pickles and candy.  Greg came a little later and Adam did hang with Greg for a bit - there were so many smiles and lots and lots of fun.

The night was perfect, great weather, lots of friends, so much fun.

Rest Time

Adam loves a good rest time... and Holly does too...

He slept like this after making his bed because the next night Grandad would be sleeping in it and he didn't want to mess it up.

And Greg works so hard... he also enjoys a rest every once in a while... maybe Adam gets it from him or Angie that loves a good nap too.

Instant Winner - Again

 Sunday, after church, the boys and Angie did the weekly HEB trip together.  Adam was once again an instant winner!  David was shocked.  Adam was thrilled.

Easter Surprises from Gram and Grandad

Gram and Grandad came to visit about a week ago.  We left early for school and work.  While we were gone Gram left a treat.  David noticed right away when we got home... Adam didn't.  David patiently waited for Adam to notice, for a couple of hours.  But at dinner time he told Adam they should play a game.  The game was look for something unusual or different in the living room.

Adam finally saw the treats on the mantel.

 

There were Easter cards, their favorite candy and gift cards to their favorite places, Starbucks and Chick-Fil-A

Adam was so surprised.

David couldn't wait to use his Starbucks card, we went early Saturday morning, Adam stayed home because he didn't want to get out of his pajamas.

Dog Man - The Musical

Last Sunday we took the boys to see a favorite book series turned musical.  David gave it a 4.5 stars out of 5.  Adam gave is a 3 stars out of 5.  Adam was giving Angie commentary the entire show of how it was not following the books, he did not approve of the plot changes.

We met our friends there and all sat together.

The boys got popcorn and M&M's.

These boys also enjoy going to the city and the Paramount is right next to the Capital, which is fun to walk by... living here we kind of take it for granted, what actually happens in that building.
