18 Months of Pure Bliss

Today our sweet Baby Boy turns 18 months old. We cannot believe he has been with us for a year and a half. We still are in awe as he learns each day and we learn more about his interests and dislikes. He is a happy boy and can still melt our hearts when we hear Daddy and Mama. David's favorite food, just like Daddy, is donuts. So it was appropriate to offer him a donut or two this morning, thanks to Grandpa Ed who dropped some by.


David continues to be thrilled with the outdoors. His specialities include mowing, weed eating, and driving. It seemed appropriate to take his 18 month pictures outside this morning, with his tools of course.

David is also learning many new words and surprises us daily. Here are a few that he says often. This video was taken first thing this morning... David was not ready to give up the pacifier. Mommy gave in and here is what we got.
David also shared his first sentence with us this week, "Need Daddy." Today he said, "Help Please." Every day brings wonderful changes and happy smiles!

A Boy, A Book, A Doll, and A Gorilla

are what David piled into the reading chair with Daddy Friday night. Good companions to cozy up with and hear a good turkey book, yes this book is about a turkey.

A Big Day for a Big Boy

Yesterday Greg flipped David's car seat facing forward. He is 20 pounds exactly with clothes and shoes, so we decided he was big enough... he loves it!

He ate half of it, much more than expected, another big celebration in our book. Then back home with a movie on the way! David is growing so fast; we are so proud of our little guy!

A New Camera

Greg gave Angie a new camera for her birthday a few weeks ago. While Greg watched the football game yesterday Angie played around with her camera, trying to figure it out, and snapped pictures of David trying to get Daddy's attention.

Family Fun

After a busy Saturday morning we decided to spend yesterday afternoon with a fun family outing. We headed back to Kiddie Acres. This was David's third trip and he seemed to enjoy it even more than the first two times!
