 bear crawl races...

 they decided to watch...

Sprint Races...

Adam joined in after watching one round...

A celebration tunnel - Adam watched as the kids went through multiple times.  Then when it was over he said, "I go in tunnel."  Poor baby missed out!

Official Bike Rider

Last week during Adam's nap Angie and David went out front.  David just got on his bike and took off - no need for Angie helping him start or stop or running beside him.  He is independent and oh so proud and it just about breaks her heart!

22 Months

Today our sweet Adam turns 22 months old.  How is he almost 2?
He continues to enjoy his brother and they are becoming fast friends.
He sings Wheels on the Bus, ABC's, 5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
He "reads" Three different books and still enjoys being read to.
He talks in three or four word sentences most of the time.
Adam is still our meat eater with a little pasta and fruit here and there
He continues to enjoy basketball, golf, and soccer!
He loves animals and other children to play with.
He got his first scrapped knee yesterday while running down the sidewalk.
Adam fills us with so much joy and is a happy little guy most of the time.
He still does not sleep through the night, but we are working on it - he is typically only up 2 times a night.
Adam Samuel we love you so much - Happy 22 months!

Here is David at 22 months.  We were one week away from moving into our current home... where does the time go?

Early Easter

Because Angie will not be able to see her family for Easter Gram planned a little Easter egg hunt for Saturday.  It rained so we had to do it inside, but the kids had fun!
Adam just like his Mama... taking pictures!
 Ready to hunt!
 And Go!

Then it was time for an Easter Photo... we had hopes of an outside picture but it never stopped raining...  these 4 are such special cousins!  It would be nice if they could spend more time with each other.

Happy Early Easter!

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

Angie and the boys spent part of Spring break in Houston with her family.
They took a day and went to the Livestock show at the Houston Rodeo.
Gram and Grandad treated everyone to a day of food and activity and it could not have been more fun!
Here are all of the little cowpokes with Gram and Grandad!

4 cowpokes - one who took the role very serious.  Can you find the cowboy face?

First activity on our agenda - pony rides because they get crowded quickly.  We were there just in time.  As soon as we walked up a very long line formed behind.

Adam loved this part of the day and cried and became very upset when it was time to get off.  We will have to let him ride a pony again soon.
Next up - tractors - this was David's favorite...
 Our tiniest farmer...

 That smile!
After that we stopped in at the petting zoo...

Last year David was nervous to feed the animals and this year he loved it.

David thought it was so funny that this cow started pooping while he was eating.  David is still talking about it 2 days later... boys.
 Happy Little Farmer!

Adam saw the wallby and began bouncing and saying "boing boing boing."
 Sweet Little Cowboys!
 The Boys!
Grandad spent a lot of time pushing these two!
Headed to Fun on the Farm.
David was given a tomato seed to plant...
And Adam was given a carrot seed.  Here is Adam with his carrot after he planted his seed...
Then it was time to "plow the fields"

We harvested corn to feed the chickens... and we collected eggs from the chickens

We shaved the sheep to get their wool...

We washed up after that hard work...

 Time to milk the cows...

Then we took our goods to the market...

We earned money for selling our goods at the market
And headed to the general store to make a purchase...

After Fun on the Farm we walked through to look at all of the Livestock that were being shown.  We cam across this entrepreneur... if you paid him a dollar you could take a picture with his cow.  His name is Cody from Seguin.  The cow's name is Arrowhead because of the white shape at the top of his head.
Adam and Mama looking at the cows...

 David loved this pig!

Last on out list for the day was the carnival.  There was not much our boys could ride, but there were games to be played...
First was fishing...
 David won right away
 and chose this red dog...
so then he helped Adam win
 Adam chose a brown dog.

David was tall enough for the motorcycle, but was disappointed because the horn would not work.
Now we waited with Lila because she wanted to ride a pink elephant!

While we waited for Luke the boys and Angie played a duck game... picking out a prize!
We had such a fun day and can't wait to go again next year!  Thanks Gram and Grandad!
