Back to Reality

Angie went back to work Tuesday and the boys back to school Wednesday.  It was such a great break... here are a few more memoires as we finish our first three days of reality after a great break!

We had a great break!

Electric Boats



First boys received electric boats for Christmas.  We went to the park and drove boats Sunday afternoon.  It was a fun afternoon until the boats ran out of batteries... in the middle of the pond.  Greg waded out to get them and we came home with both boats and fun memories.

Saturday Nights

We spent Saturday night at home in the backyard... and we loved every minute of this family night.
Greg grilled steaks and sweet potatoes.  Adam made a salad.  And Holly and David played until exhaustion. 

Dinner was delicious and every bite was gone.

Family Saturdays are the best.

Friday NIght Dance Party

Angie came downstairs Friday night after putting laundry away and found a dance party.  And they didn't stop when she started filming!

 

 

Holly's Second Playdate

Holly had a second playdate on Friday with Charlie - a Labradoodle.  They wore each other out.  Charlie was good at sharing toys and we came home with two bones he no longer wanted.

New Years Eve

We spent part of the last day of 2019 at Trader Joe's.  The boys chose lemonade and chocolate cake for their New Year's Snacks! 

Greg worked late so the boys had dinner in the living room!

Adam made our Party Plan for the night and we did it all, except texting.

David was getting sleepy at 8:00... but perked up!

We had some noise makers... Angie ran 5 miles between dinner and the "party"

 

 

Party Poppers - these were fun.  The boys could do them and we could have them within the city limits!

Time for snacks.  We used the s'mores kit Santa brought the boys!

The drawing contest.  Adam assigned everyone an object, Mama glasses, Daddy a shoe, David a book.  Then he was the judge of the best drawing.

Daddy thought he won...

But really it was David!

At 10:00 these boys asked for bed.
