Christmas Jammies

Angie was unsure if the boys would want matching Christmas Pajamas.  When she asked they acted like it was a silly question.  So, she showed them this pair they both liked them after our Disney trip and in the cart they went.
Our annual Christmas Jammies pictures - they always make each other laugh and don't seem to mind even sitting for these pictures!

Angie needed to run some errands, the boys didn't want to change out of pj's so they were allowed to lounge in the back while we did all of our picku ups and we picked up the coveted reindeer cake pop after trying 3 different Starbuck's.

These smiles can fill a Mama with so much joy!

Balloons over Broadway and Thanksgiving Feast in Second Grade

Adam's teacher is great at making children feel like they belong and that they each have strengths to contribute to their community classroom.  The week of Thanksgiving began with this message for her class.

In social studies Adam's class studies the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  They read the biography of the man that made the first balloons and learned about Herold Square.
Then they made their own Balloons Over Broadway.

One day they made the buildings, then the next day they designed their balloons and came up with a materials list for their teacher.  The next day they made taxi cabs, and the last day balloons.  On Friday they had the parade...
Adam made the character Cat Kid.

Then after the parade they had a Thanksgiving feast of apples and popcorn.
