Kona Ice

Spring Break Ended with a Bang when Kona Ice came to school at the end of the day.  So much fun and so glad these memories are forever a part of our boys school memories!

Field Day - Adam's Frist David's Last

The boys had field day on Friday March 4.  The last time this happened was Friday March, 6 2020.  It was the last even of their kindergarten and third grade years... and Adam doesn't even remember it.  So, Angie made sure that she was there for this years field day.  Thankfully her boss is very much pro family memories.

Up early for field day!

We went to Chick-Fil-A first for breakfast!

Adam taking in the ice chest to his teacher - David was already at safety patrol.

Adam's field day was first!  Adam and his best friends Oliver and Gabo!

First Up, Obstacle course

Because David is on safety patrol he was out as a leader showing younger students how to do the events... here he is demonstrating with his friend Jacob as the second graders watch!

Adam and Gabo trying it - they did well!

Next even hurdles - David and Jacob demonstrating for the second graders...

Adam cheering on his team!

Parachute!

Rock Wall

Egg Races

And Tug of War!

Adam truly has the sweetest class in the entire school.  We all wish they could stay together!

Adam going in as David was meeting his class outside for his field day!

David with some of his best friends, Charlie, Carter and Presley.

Frist Up, Obstacle Course.

They won every time because they demonstrated for all of the kinder - second grade classes so of course they were the fastest fifth graders.

He can run!

Egg Races - he and Megan were a team.

Rock Wall

Tug of War

David's class - the best teacher!

David and his friend Charlie!

Angie took David home early, right after lunch.

Adam stayed all day, but went home with his friends for a playdate!

It was such a great way to start March.

Instant Winner

Last Sunday after church all 4 of us went grocery shopping for the week so Angie didn't have to be the one thinking of all meals, snacks and treats.  It took so much longer, but everyone had what they wanted all week long!

And Adam was thrilled because he was an Instant Winner with the Buddy Bucks machine.

They Make Us Smile

Last Saturday Adam attended Luke, a friend's, birthday party  got to see a friend he hasn't seen in a while.  Adam and Grayson had the best time playing ski ball air hockey and laser tag.

Adam wanted his picture taken before picture day... David was not as thrilled that Angie encouraged him to dress up.  When he arrived home that afternoon he let her know that could look like a "weirdo" in the class picture because he was the only one dressed up.  This reminded Angie of her fifth grade class picture where one of her classmates was in a bow tie and suspenders.

This little guy is a reader.  Angie bought him 11 new books - he finished them in less than 2 days.  Thankfully he likes to reread!!

Adam asks for Angie to park as far a way as possible a pick up so he can walk longer with his friends...

Waiting for school to begin - he gets there extra early so his brother can do safety patrol.

So proud of himself and the fort he built.

Adam learned about Amelia Earhart at school and came home and built a plane right away.

Also, Adam insisted on wearing his old soccer jersey to school one day, complete with shin guards.  His teacher sent this picture of an "epic" soccer game happening between 6 members of Adam's class.  Brinkley, Fletcher and Keaton all play soccer on select teams.  Gabo, Anderson and Adam all have different levels of recreational soccer... this game didn't last long, but Adam had the best time.

Adam received another award at KidStrong.

On a cold winter day David made a cake.

He is still a helper at safety patrol...

And some mornings is able to put up the school flags.

In social studies they had to depict the Trail of Tears in some project.  David chose to make a comic...

And here is a project his class did on identities David's is just above his head, it has art, running shoes, music, and books included in his identity.

These boys make us so very proud.
