Christmas Treats

Yesterday Angie and David were up early. David now prefers mornings with Mommy over Daddy. After Angie offered several items to David for breakfast and all were refused she declared a donut morning. So, Daddy was awakened and all three headed down the street to Round Rock donuts.
David enjoyed two donut holes on the way home, but still wanted more once we were at home.

After David's nap it was time for his Santa cupcake. He saw this at the bakery and we could not say NO to his sweet request..."Santa cake." It became a little damaged in transport, but David did not notice

it looks like he started slow, not knowing exactly how to eat this cake


but he finished strong


he went straight into the bath tub and Santa came along too. The bath water was pink in about 30 seconds, but both were clean
after dinner it was time to do a little Christmas baking
David cut the first cookie


as you can tell the second cookie had a large hole in the middle from some little fingers digging into the dough

and test tasting

that was the end of David's Christmas baking... we did not need his first upset stomach on Christmas Eve Eve:)
